Hillary Clinton Speaks against Internet Censorship

15 February 2011 US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton delivered a speech at George Washington University, praising the role of the internet in recent revolutionary movements in the Middle East. She promised US support for a free, unrestricted internet worldwide, saying "The best answer to offensive speech is more speech."
