This is something you should all read. I don't know the proper place to put it so I'll put it here.


In response to the recent protests across the country, the Egyptian government has essentially shut down the internet. This is a perfect example of the danger of the current structure of the internet. When we are buying our access to the internet from someone else, we are easily cut off from that access. We cannot be ensured of our freedom when we rely on an internet that is not our own. If you ever doubted the urgency of isaac's apocalyptic rhetoric, read this article and apologise for calling him crazy.
