It's time to get serious- for the sake of our diets – call it a the raising of a barn, if you will.
What can you say about barns that hasn't already been said? Just that they are good to have, for storage and all manner of things related to sufficiency.
Let's grow things,
Let's grow stuff, make stuffing,
and muffins,
Let's bake the fruits of the land--
I for one, would like to eat some bread that was warm from the oven.
Now please, if you would not mind, take ahold of this timber frame--
muttering and stuttering in the streets, we'll come
out, to meet the world, to greet birth and rebirth
and you're welcome to come,
you're welcome to scream in public,
if that's what you want to do –
it's a free country, after all, isn't it,
a free country after all, after the fall,
and in the fall, due
7 or 8, days or weeks or years from now,
some time in September or October,
When the hoods come out,
and late fireflies, I guess, and glimpses of the incandescent interiors of,
homes you do not know.
